 Updates:

Hey all, Lise here. Just wanting to let you all know that due to the crafty work of Mme. Charlotte Francois I have been able to touch base with one of the hostel she had provided to me, and it looks like we have room enough for at least 100 youth to date.

If you want to check out the hostel, you can find it at: http://www.schroniskotpd.d83.pl/en,home.html (if you require the page to be in English, just click on the little british flag in the left hand corner).

I'll keep you all posted as I have touched base with a few other hostels which seem to be in close proximity to each other. We may just have some accomodations yet!
Ciao All
xoxo

The Poland Working Group is focused on various different objectives such as - locating accomodations for ALL youth attending Poland, applying for grants to cover costs of the trip, as well as various other things.  We are hoping to find accomodation for everyone in one location or locations close to each other so that we can all be close together and thus be able to get more work done (and more fun with people from other countries).

Our two main priporities as of now are:

1. finding accomodations in or close to Poznan, for approximately 150 more youth

2. Placing an accomodations deposit of 20% of the total cost = 48 000 polish dollars to secure accomadations already found for 150 youth. This money is due by the end of April (ekkk!)

Later we will be planning activities and training for the Youth Caucus in Poland, and developing links with youth groups who plan to attend COP14.

If you would like to help us out please contact either Charlotte Francois (Belgium) or Lise Richard (Canada).

Also please feel free to check out our 'Terms of Reference' created for us by the wonderful and talents Erin Condit-Bergren (USA) which can be found below.
